Jean-Michel Brun, elected member of the Executive Board of the EOC

During the EOC 46th General Assembly in Zagreb (Croatia), Jean-Michel Brun was elected as a member of the Executive Board of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) for the 2017-2021 Olympiad.

This new mandate follows his commitment to the “European Union Commission” of the EOC and initiates his integration into the Coordination Commission of Minsk 2019 European Games.

Jean-Michel Brun succeeds Guy Drut, who was, between 2005 and 2009, the representative of France among the 12 members of the Executive Board of the EOC gathering 50 countries.

EOC is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization established for fostering the development of the Olympic movement and its ideals throughout Europe, in close collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), in promoting the development of physical and moral qualities that come from contests in the friendly spheres of sport.

Denis Masseglia, the French National Olympic Committee (CNOSF) President and its Administrators congratulate Jean-Michel BRUN for his election and wish him every success in his new international challenge. They assure him of their support.
